Panasonic has upgraded its body scan technology and the EP 30004 massage chair. This body scan technology creates a three-dimensional map of your back. It scans your back from top to bottom and will record coordinates and dimensions. As it stands it will also notate different important part of your body like your shoulders.

When the body scan is performed, the rollers of the massage chair will move up and down your back. As the rollers move up and down, sensors will record the coordinates of your body in three different dimensions. This information can use to customize the massage chairs for your body.
